6. Using SMS Command

NOTE: **** is user’s password and the default password is 0000. The tracker will only accept SMS

commands from a user with correct password. SMS commands with wrong password will be ignored.

Password is in 4 digits.

Function: To set the GPRS setting.

X = 0, Close GPRS

X = 1, Open TCP

X = 2, Open UDP

IP = IP address or domain name of your server. (Default = 210.193.55.46)

Port = Communication port of your server. (Default = 8500)

APN = Access Point Name (Refer to 11. APNs)

APN Username/APN Password = if any, otherwise blank. (Refer to 11. APNs)

SMS Response: TrackerID,A21,OK

Set GPRS Interval

0000,A12,6,0

Function: To set the GPRS tracking interval.

X = 0, turn OFF GPRS

X = 1 ~ 65535, set the GPRS Interval. (in unit of 10 seconds).

T = 0, turn OFF number of times report within the GPRS interval

T = 1 ~ 65535, set number of SMS reports to be received within the GPRS interval

SMS Response: TrackerID,A12,OK

Change User’s

Password

Function: To change user’s password. #### is the new password. Password should be in 4 digits.

Reboot GSM

Function: To reboot the GSM module of the tracker.

Function: To reboot the GPS module of the tracker.
